“Honest about outcomes and supportive”

Anonymous – 01/11/2022

Queen’s Medical Centre (NHS)

I like the way Dr Quraishi was open about the likely outcome following surgery and he was honest about potential side effects. Following the surgery, I was reviewed as I had not recovered as quickly as hoped I was given a further appointment for review which I felt was helpful and reassuring.

“Exceptional diagnosis after years of pain”

The Spire Hospital (Private Patient)

I had been rattling around within the NHS and privately for over 10 years without receiving an accurate diagnosis relating to back pain. Professor Quraishi reviewed the notes, made some diagnostic tests and successfully treated the pain in a couple of months. In theatre, the supporting staff refer to him as “Boss” which is a mark of the esteem and admiration which he inspires. He is genuinely exceptional.

The Park Hospital (Private Patient)

Throughout consultations I was treated with care & respect; full information was given & the implications of any treatment was fully explained. My questions were given thoughtful consideration so that together, we came to decisions on how to proceed. When asking for guidance / recommendation, the consultant gave his opinion supported by his professional experience.
Whether in person or receiving telephone consultations, I was not hurried & before concluding Mr Quraishi was careful to ensure that we both shared a clear understanding of the current situation & any future proposals.

“Compassionate care, full recovery achieved”

Anonymous – 07/09/2022

The Park Hospital (NHS)

Mr Quraishi from the 1st meeting to being discharged made my care, expectations and outcomes extremely clear, he took time to understand me personally what I wanted from the surgery. He was interested to learn about my personal, family life, activities I participate in and was able to advise on the necessary treatment plan to make a full active lifestyle a reality again. The plan we agreed on was a surgery to fix a prolapsed disc, I am now at the 6 month mark in my recovery and my life is 100% back to pre-injury. In a nutshell, he’s compassionate, puts in the time and the results speak for themselves.
